About this visa
The 48-hour transit visa is for travellers passing through the UAE with a confirmed onward flight: it lets you step out of the airport and see the city for up to 48 hours. Enough for the Marina at night, the old souks in the morning, and a proper meal that isn't airport food.
Transit visas need a confirmed onward booking, so we check your flights carefully as part of the pre-check. As always, everything can happen over WhatsApp — no office visit needed.

Yes — transit visas are issued on the basis of a genuine onward journey, and we check your booking as part of the pre-check.
You may not need a visa at all if you stay airside — but if you want to leave the airport, even briefly, message us and we'll advise.
If your plans change and you want a full visit, tell us before you travel — switching after arrival isn't always possible.
